How can we help?

Answers to the most common questions. If yours is not here, write to us and we will sort it out.

Trial and purchase

Is KOKUKY free?

The download is free. Without buying anything you can play the throwing tutorial, three complete seven-point solo matches, and Daily Throw and Daily Challenge every day.

Unlock the full game permanently with one purchase. The reference price is €2.99, and your app store shows the final local price. There is no subscription and there are no ads.

What does the full game include?

Online play against real players, pass-and-play on one device, KOKUKY tournaments and weekend cups, free practice and challenge practice, and all five courts. A match never stops halfway when the trial ends.

I played before the trial existed. Do I lose anything?

No. Earlier installations keep their access, and previous purchases stay valid.

I bought the full game but it does not show. Or I changed phones.

Make sure the device uses the same Apple ID or Google account you bought the game with. Open the full-game screen in the game and tap Restore purchases.

A purchase is restored through the store where it was made. An App Store purchase does not move to Google Play, and a Google Play purchase does not move to iPhone.

How do I get a refund?

The App Store or Google Play handles payments, and the game never sees your payment details. Request a refund from the store: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google from your Google Play order history.

Account and sign-in

Do I need an account?

Not necessarily. You can play the tutorial, solo matches and tournaments without signing in. Online play, leaderboards and daily game results use sign-in with Apple or Google. You can save results played as a guest by signing in.

I signed in and my progress is gone.

Signing in with Apple and with Google creates different game accounts. Sign out and sign in the same way you did before. Accounts are not merged automatically.

If you do not remember which account you used, contact us with your player name. Never send passwords.

The player name I want is taken.

Each player name belongs to one player only, so the leaderboards have no look-alikes. Choose another name. If the name is on your own older account, sign in with that account or contact us.

How do I change my player name, team or boule?

Open your player card. Choose your name, team and boule there; changes save automatically. Names must be appropriate.

Playing

What is the difference between XP and KOKUKY points?

XP comes from playing, including against the computer, and unlocks new boules. KOKUKY points are skill points: they change only in online matches against real players. More in the how-to-play guide.

How do Daily Throw and Daily Challenge work?

Both are free for everyone. You get one scoring attempt a day in each, on the same course as everyone else. Either one keeps your shared daily streak going. Past days are in the leaderboard. Results need sign-in and a connection.

When is the weekend cup?

Every weekend from Friday 18:00 to Sunday 22:00 Finnish time. The cup appears in the game’s Tournaments menu before it starts. The winner can choose a Champion boule. Tournaments are part of the full game.

My online opponent is not throwing.

In a no-time-limit match both players throw at their own pace, and your opponent may continue later. You get a notification when it is your turn if you allowed notifications. For a faster game, choose a quick match or a 10-minute match.

I found a bug. What should I do?

Thank you! Tell us by email or on Discord what happened, your phone model and the game version. A screenshot or a short screen recording helps most.
